Best Friend Grazing Muzzles
Best Friend™ Grazing Muzzles are recommended by equine health professionals to prevent Laminitis, as well as managing Laminitis, founder, and obesity.
They are the most robust and adjustable grazing muzzles on the market with a built in breakaway system and large nose air holes for increased breathability.
The small opening in the bottom allows horses a limited amount of grass, yet unlimited water. Rather than being restricted to a non-grass environment to control intake, horses are free to exercise and socialize as part of the herd. The Best Friend grazing muzzles are lightweight, resist rubbing and chafing and will not rot.
The body of the Best Friend grazing muzzle is made of soft, comfortable webbing with neoprene padding on the noseband to help prevent rubbing. The bottom is made of flexible and durable reinforced rubber. All designs have a breakaway feature that will hold in place under normal circumstances, yet will break away if a horse panics and struggles to free itself. This feature greatly reduces the risk of injury to the horse.

The Best Friend Cribbing Muzzle
Allows horses to eat and drink while gently and humanely limiting the damage from a number of undesirable equine behaviours, including, cribbing and / or wood-chewing, chewing blankets, bandages or wounds, chewing other objects, biting other horses, biting themselves or biting people. This muzzle is a much more humane way of managing a crib biting habit, and causes the horses much less stress than a collar.

The Best Friend Bareback Pads are our most popular bareback pads. They are contoured to fit and have a non-slip breathable material which sits on the horse’s back to keep the pad in place. The bareback pads take into consideration both the horse and riders comfort, offering riders a more natural seat.
For the rider; the Best Friend Bareback Pad improves comfort, provides a barrier against dirt and grease, as well as an easy grab handle for confidence.
For the horse; the Best Friend Bareback Pad is light and airy improving back comfort with additional wither protection. They do not have to be girthed up tightly and do not move.
The Best Friend Bareback Pad is ideal for any horse or pony including youngsters being introduced to the saddle, horses recovering from injury and those horses whose backs are not shaped for traditional saddles.
